2 Phoenix PD officers hurt in early-morning collision, impairment suspected
Two Phoenix police officers were hospitalized for a collision that occurred early Saturday morning, authorities said.

PHOENIX — Two Phoenix police officers were hospitalized for a collision that occurred early Saturday morning, authorities said.
The officers were traveling in a fully marked city vehicle for a service call when the collision happened near 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 4:30 a.m.
The city vehicle was headed south when a sedan traveling north collided with it.
Both officers as well as the driver of the sedan were hospitalized as a precaution.
Impairment is suspected to be a factor in the collision.
No other information was available in the ongoing investigation.
