PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert Friday for a missing Phoenix man with a cognitive condition.

The man was reunited with his family and is doing well, police said.

Darryl Scott, 59, went missing around 6 a.m. Thursday on foot in the area of Interstate 17 and Maryland Avenue, between Bethany Home Road and Glendale Avenue, according to the alert.

Authorities said Scott suffers from a medical condition that can cause him to become confused and easily lost. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 130 pounds, has brown eyes and is bald.

He was last seen wearing dark gray pants, a black shirt and black shoes.
