Plane carrying 2 people makes emergency landing in West Valley field

PHOENIX – A plane carrying two people made a safe emergency landing in a West Valley field on Friday, authorities said.

Nobody was injured when the aircraft went down near 99th and Southern avenues around noon, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

The occupants refused treatment.

No other information was immediately available.
