Silver Alert issued for missing 80-year-old man last seen in Mesa

A Mesa man who went missing last week, prompting a Silver Alert, was found safe on Tuesday, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A Mesa man who went missing last week, prompting a Silver Alert, was found safe on Tuesday, authorities said.

The alert for David Terry, 80, was issued on May 19.

Terry, who is 6 feet tall and around 138 pounds, left on foot from the area of Crismon Road and Pueblo Avenue around 4:30 a.m.

He was located in Phoenix eight days later, according to the Mesa Police Department.

No other details about the case were made available.
