2 people suffer life-threatening injuries in crash involving stolen vehicle in Phoenix

PHOENIX – Two people were critically injured in a crash involving a stolen vehicle in Phoenix on Wednesday night, authorities said.

Officers responded to a collision call near 16th and Jefferson streets around 9 a.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Two people with life-threatening injuries were extracted from one of the vehicles by Phoenix Fire Department responders.

The occupant of one of the vehicles did not remain at the scene, police said.

No other details were immediately available.
