Scottsdale specialty shoe store Soleful Endeavors closing after 2 decades

PHOENIX — A local, family-owned Scottsdale shoe store is closing after over two decades.

Soleful Endeavors, an orthopedic shoe store, has offered “sit and fit” services near Scottsdale Road and East Acoma Drive for 21 years.

Previously known as Foot Solutions Scottsdale, this business specializes in arch support, athletic shoes, dress shoes, casual shoes, and sandals for both men and women.

Why is orthopedic shoe store in Scottsdale closing?

The business is closing because its owner, Sue Orischak, is retiring.

“I carry top name brands and I’m selling it all to the bare walls,” Orischak said on social media.

All the shoes on the showroom floor need to go.

“I’ve even got store fixtures, racks, shelving, equipment and store supplies being sold,” Orischak said.

Her store is hosting a 50% off sale open to the public on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
