Scottsdale Family ArtsFest returns for 3rd festival

PHOENIX — The Scottsdale Family ArtsFest returns for its third iteration, which will take place on Friday and Saturday.

The event is free to attend and will be held at SkySong, Arizona State University’s Scottsdale Innovation Center. The center is located near McDowell and Scottsdale roads.

The event’s hours will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

What activities will there be at Scottsdale Family ArtsFest?

The ArtsFest features several activities for guests including art exhibits, interactive art workshops and music and art performances.

The performances will be held under a SkySong tent at the Main Stage of the festival, where guests can see performances by choirs, bands, theatre groups and orchestras.

The Artsfest will also have several food and dessert trucks for attendees.

The performances and art exhibits at the festival will feature more than 1,000 works created by Scottsdale Unified School District students.

Scottsdale Community Partners will also be holding a fundraiser in the lobby entrance at the SkySong Building 1. Guests can buy bowls created by SUSD students. The funds will go to support SCP programs, including the Vista del Camino Food Bank, Back-to-School and Healthy Packs programs.
