The Henry sets opening date for new location in Uptown Plaza

PHOENIX — Over a year after being announced, The Henry has officially set an opening date for its new location at the Uptown Plaza district in Phoenix.

The new location, located on Central Avenue and Camelback Road, will open for business on April 2. The opening will mark The Henry’s second location in the Valley following the Arcadia location, which opened in 2013. 

“In the same way our Arcadia restaurant has become woven into the fabric of the community, we envision The Henry Uptown as a gathering place for the Uptown Phoenix neighborhood and beyond,” founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts Sam Fox said in a news release.

“We’re pleased to bring The Henry experience to such an iconic spot in Phoenix. From early-morning espresso runs and afternoon business lunches to late-night martinis with friends, we want everyone to feel at home any time of day.”

Fox Restaurants, which announced the restaurant in November 2023, is also behind other Valley restaurant concepts, including Culinary Dropout, Zin Burger, Flower Child and Blanco Cocina + Cantina.

What can guests expect from The Henry?

At the Uptown location, guests can enjoy the same menu options from the Arcadia location, along with a bar with a wider selection of cocktails and wines.

Guests can enjoy amenities, including a walk-up coffee bar, private dining room and leather banquettes.

The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
