Weekend Valley freeway restrictions for Aug. 7-10

PHOENIX — According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the following travel freeway advisories have been issued for the weekend of Aug. 7:

• Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed at Priest Drive from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday for sign work.

• Westbound Loop 202 will be closed at Center Parkway/Priest Drive from 9 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday for sign work.

• East- and southbound Loop 202 will be closed between Recker and Broadway roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project.

• Westbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to one lane between Hayden Road and Shea Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday for pavement-marker installation.

• Westbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to one lane between Williams Field and Gilbert roads from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday for maintenance.

• Eastbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to one lane between Gilbert and Hawes roads from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday for maintenance.

• Northbound Interstate 17 will be narrowed to one lane between Pioneer and New River roads from 10 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday for maintenance.

• Westbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Tatum Boulevard and Cave Creek Road from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

• Northwest-bound Grand Avenue will be closed between 57th Drive and Glendale Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday for lighting work.

• Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane between Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Riggs Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

• State Route 87 will be closed in both directions at Loop 202 from 5 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday for bridge work.

• Dobson Road will be closed in both directions at Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Saturday for bridge work.
