1 dead, 1 hospitalized after west Phoenix shooting
One man has died and another is in critical condition after a shooting in west Phoenix on Tuesday, authorities said.

PHOENIX — One man has died and another is in critical condition after a shooting in west Phoenix on Tuesday, authorities said.
On Tuesday at around 2 p.m., police responded to a shooting call in the area of 51st Avenue and Mackenzie Drive. Upon arrival, police found two men with gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to the hospital, where one of them, 31-year-old Bryon Vierra, died from his injuries. The other victim remains in critical condition.
Authorities said that an argument occurred prior to the shooting involving multiple people that included the two men.
The investigation remains ongoing.
