PHOENIX — The Feed My Starving Children charity has moved from Mesa into a new facility in Tempe after completing a new lease agreement.

The 34,187-square-foot facility near Elliott Road and Priest Drive is now open and fully operational.

The new site holds office space, a fully air conditioned warehouse, plenty of parking spaces and six dock door positions.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Feed My Starving Children to Tempe,” Mark Gustin of real estate and investment management company JLL said in a release.

“This completely renovated building gives this highly respected organization modern advantages that will amplify its comfort, efficiency and results. The property is easily accessed via nearby I-10 and is within walking distance to more than 50 retail, restaurant and hospitality amenities.”

Feed My Starving Children leased its first facility in Tempe in 2011 but relocated to Mesa in 2015 to move into a facility three times larger. The Minnesota-based charity oversees eight locations around the country, and at each site, volunteers pack and provide meals to individuals in 112 countries worldwide.

Donations to Feed My Starving Children can be made online.
