The early investigation suggests that Lopez Moreno was a passenger in a vehicle heading north on 35th Avenue. As that vehicle turned left at Grovers Avenue, it was struck by a vehicle traveling south on 35th Avenue, police said.

Impairment is not believed to be a factor in this collision. This remains an ongoing investigation.
