PHOENIX — First lady Jill Biden has scheduled events in Phoenix this weekend with U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly in a final push before Election Day.

Biden will attend two events with Kelly on Saturday, the White House confirmed in a press release.

Details so far are scarce, with the only known aspects being start times of noon and 1:15 p.m.

More information is known on another event Biden will be at with education leaders.

The first lady will speak at the Arizona Education Association’s get out the vote canvass lunch at 11 a.m.

Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman and secretary of state candidate Adrian Fontes, Democratic nominees for their respective positions, are also scheduled to speak at the event.

Biden won’t be the first national Democratic figure to come to the Valley this week to stump for candidates with the election coming up Tuesday.

Former President Barack Obama spoke Wednesday at Cesar Chavez High School in the Phoenix neighborhood of Laveen in support of Arizona’s Democratic ticket.

Gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs, Kelly, Fontes and Hoffman were among the other Democratic leaders to speak at the Obama rally.
