Silver Alert canceled for missing Buckeye woman with medical condition found safe

Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Tuesday morning for a Buckeye woman with a medical condition who went missing the previous night after she was found safe.

PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Tuesday morning for a Buckeye woman with a medical condition who went missing the previous night after she was found safe.

Elaine Kouba, 73, left her home near Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue to go to a store around 11 p.m. Monday and never returned, according to the alert.

She was driving a red 2004 Ford Escape with Arizona license plate 83A3MB. The vehicle was spotted in Maricopa and Tempe.

Kouba is 5 foot, 6 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, with green eyes and white hair. She was last seen wearing a blue-green romper.

Her family told police she is undergoing treatment for a serious medical condition and has been showing signs of dementia.

Anybody with information about Kouba’s whereabouts was asked to call 911.
