Fry’s offers free delivery, double fuel points, more savings for $59-$99 a year

PHOENIX – Fry’s Food Stores is serving up a new membership program that, for an annual fee, provides double fuel points, free delivery and additional savings opportunities, the grocery chain announced Thursday.

Boost, as the program is called, comes in two levels. For $59 a year, members get free next-day grocery delivery. A $99 tier offers free delivery in as little as two hours.

The delivery perk is for orders of a least $35 through Instacart.

Depending on the plan, Boost members can save $663-$935 a year on deliveries if they get two deliveries a week, Fry’s said.

In addition to the extra fuel points and free delivery, the program provides exclusive discounts of more than $100 on Fry’s house brands such as Simple Truth and Private Selection.

Boost also includes the digital coupons, weekly specials and online ordering that are already part of Fry’s free V.I.P. loyalty program.

“We know our customers are looking to stretch their budgets – and we think this is a great way to help them save money while making grocery shopping more convenient,” Monica Garnes, president of Fry’s Food Stores, said in a press release.

Fry’s, a subsidiary of Kroger, has 125 stores and 97 fuel stations across Arizona.

Kroger is making Boost available across its entire family of companies.
