PHOENIX — Mexican food chain Someburros announced Thursday that the opening of its first West Valley location will take place this month.

The locally-owned restaurant is set to open its 13th Arizona location at the southwest corner of Van Buren Street and Estrella Parkway in Goodyear on July 16. Someburros’ Goodyear location will be open each day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A celebration is set to take place during the opening weekend of the new restaurant, such as live entertainment from a mariachi band and piñata prizes that include Someburros gift cards, according to a press release.

The new location will offer drive-thru service and a 3,800-square-foot indoor dining area with counter service, seating and a two-sided outdoor patio, the restaurant said.

Menu options include burritos that can be made enchilada, chimichanga or fundido style, as well as tacos, quesadillas and salads.

The restaurant’s frozen margaritas are also available for either dine-in or takeout.

Someburros, which started in the Valley 36 years ago, also has locations in Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, Queen Creek and Flagstaff.
