PHOENIX — A Phoenix man was sentenced to 10 years in prison last week after pleading guilty to two counts of armed bank robbery, authorities said.

Jonathan Bastida-Delgado, 28, robbed multiple businesses from late February through mid-March 2020 in Phoenix, Glendale and Buckeye, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona said in a press release.

Bastida-Delgado frequently wore the same clothing, made similar threats and used the same semiautomatic handgun in each robbery he committed, authorities said.

He was taken into custody March 17, 2020, by local law enforcement and the FBI.

Bastida-Delgado also pleaded guilty to one count of using a firearm during a crime of violence and will complete three years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
