Missing West Valley man with cognitive issues found safe after Silver Alert

PHOENIX – A West Valley man who was the subject of a Silver Alert was found safe Tuesday morning, authorities said.

John McGuffin, 74, had last been seen in Buckeye around 4 p.m. Monday near Sundance Parkway and Van Buren Street, his daughter told police.

McGuffin suffers from a cognitive disorder, the Buckeye Police Department said.
