PHOENIX – Fountain Hills in the northeast Valley will be rocking the shamrock this weekend, hosting the Irish Fountain Fest.
Admission is free to the family-friendly celebration Saturday, which runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fountain Park, near Saguaro and El Lago boulevards. There’s no charge for parking, either.
At noon, the town’s signature fountain will go with an emerald green flow and then spout off that color again at 4 p.m.
A kid zone will be ready for playing and Irish folk dancers and Celtic bands will perform throughout the afternoon.
Food trucks will be on site to sell pizza, paninis, barbecue, fry bread, frozen yogurt and more.
Alcoholic beverages for those with valid ID confirming they are 21 or older will be available at the Crescent Crown Beer Garden.
