2 minors hospitalized after being shot in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Two minors were taken to the hospital, one in critical condition, after being shot in Phoenix, authorities said.

The shootings occurred near 29th Avenue and Greenway Road, the Phoenix Police Department said in an email.

A 15-year-old boy was in critical condition, while the other minor, whose age wasn’t provided, sustained a non-life threatening injury.

No additional information was made available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
