3 teenagers hurt after car crashes into traffic light on Phoenix street
Three teenagers were hospitalized with serious injuries early Monday after their car crashed into a traffic signal pole in Phoenix.

PHOENIX – Three teenagers were hospitalized with serious injuries early Monday after their car crashed into a traffic signal pole in Phoenix.
The Phoenix Police Department said in an email the teens’ car smashed into the pole near 15th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 1:30 a.m. and brought down the pole.

The teens’ injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening, police said.
Authorities closed eastbound Bethany Home Road to Seventh Avenue.
Cause of the collision is under investigation.
No other details were immediately made available.
