Arizona Renaissance Festival returns to East Valley this weekend, goes until April

PHOENIX — The 34th annual Arizona Renaissance Festival and Artisan Marketplace returns to the East Valley this weekend and runs through early April.

Attendees can find entertainers like Adam Crack and his Fire Whip Show, games and rides, jousting tournaments three times daily, more than 200 unique artisan shops and various food options including the iconic giant roasted “turkey leg” at the 50-acre village in Gold Canyon at 12601 E. US Highway 60.

Lords and ladies can step back in time with different themes each Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, according to the official website, in addition to President’s Day.

Adult general admission can be bought online for $29, with the price for children ages 5 through 12 being $19. Season passes are also available. Parking is free.

People can also live the life of the renaissance with five courses of food and drink with live entertainment and a festival souvenir at the Pleasure Feast that is available for $83.50 a ticket.

The Renaissance Festival is making a return after being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
