Arizona Strong Beer Festival returns this month with over 100 breweries participating

PHOENIX — The Arizona Strong Beer Festival returns this month at the new Bell Bank Park in Mesa, allowing people to enjoy their favorite brew or try something new.

The festival takes place on Feb. 19 at the sports and entertainment complex located at Ellsworth and Pecos roads near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Tickets can be bought online.

Each ticket comes with 30 tasting tickets that are good for a 2-oz pour.

Just over 100 breweries are participating, according to the official website, including both local and out-of-state breweries.

General admission is $60 for the event that begins at 1 p.m.

There are also VIP and Super VIP options that allow people in at 11:30 a.m. and come with other benefits including a food voucher, a VIP area with a private restroom and a swag item.

Designated driver tickets cost $15 and may accompany VIP and Super VIP ticket-holders into the specialized area.

The event is presented by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild.
