Silver Alert for missing 12-year-old girl in Phoenix canceled

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert issued early Monday morning for a 12-year-old girl last seen in Phoenix was deactivated Monday afternoon after she was recovered.

Yacelle Jones had been last seen near the intersection of 33rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

She was located and is safe, authorities said.

Jones is said to easily get confused and lost, according to a release.

Her family expressed concern for her welfare to police.

She had been last seen on Sunday and the alert was issued around 3:15 a.m. on Monday.
