PHOENIX — The Tempe Festival of the Arts is returning to Mill Avenue starting Friday and will run through the weekend.

More than 350 artists will compete in downtown Tempe for honors in 18 categories, including wood, photography and ceramics.

Thousands of pieces of art are expected to be on display — and some for sale — during the three-day event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

A full lineup of food/drink options and entertainment will also be available for attendees.

More than 20 food court, food trucks and snack vendors will be open on site.

Pedal Haus Brewery will have a beer and wine garden at Centerpoint and Maple, while Four Peaks Brewing will host one at Hayden Square.

Street and stage performers will play each day starting at 10 a.m.

Some safety measures will be put in place amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

A full list of performers and more information on the event can be found on its website.

We want to hear from you.
