The winner has an option of taking annual payments or one payment of $119,993,157 before taxes.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were 6, 8, 13, 37, 40 with a Powerball red number 11.
A Michigan news website reported that Wednesday night’s results were delayed because of technical difficulties.
State lawmakers earlier this year passed a bill that would shield lottery
winners’ identities. But the legislation won’t take effect until next month.
Under the bill, winners’ names would be withheld for 90 days after they claim
their prizes.
The gas station will receive a $25,000 commission for selling the lucky ticket.
