Silver Alert canceled for 39-year-old Chandler woman with schizophrenia

PHOENIX- A Silver Alert was canceled for a 39-year-old woman last seen Monday afternoon in Chandler, according to authorities.

Oromina Valdez was located safe and in good health, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said Wednesday.

She had last been seen at her residence in Chandler near Hartford Street and Pecos Road around 3 p.m. wearing a blue t-shirt, black pants and black shoes.

She left without permission with no cell phone, money or vehicle access.

She suffers from schizophrenia and a mild intellectual disorder. Both require medication.

Valdez was not known to leave the residence.
