After the death of James Gandolfini, Amazon posted a message grieving the actor and celebrating his career, but some customers were not pleased with the post.

ABC News reports that immediately following the death of Gandolfini, Amazon posted a message on Facebook expressing sadness over the loss of the actor along with a link that went straight to DVD’s of “The Sopranos,” one of the most prominent TV shows in the actor’s career.

Before the post was pulled, someone captured the image on their cellphone and shared it with the world.

“I’m ashamed to be an Amazon shopper & Kindle user right now,” said one Facebook user. “It was in poor taste that you guys put up a link ‘remembering’ James Gandolfini along with a link to purchase Season 1 of The Sopranos. This is a real person, not a promotional opportunity.”

Surge in sales of The Sopranos DVD’s isn’t going to be a big shocker, though. Has anyone forgotten what happened when Michael Jackson died? Or what about Whitney Houston?
