Glendale woman dies from stabbing in suspected domestic violence incident
A 65-year-old woman died after being stabbed early Saturday morning in a suspected domestic violence incident, according to the Peoria Police Department.

PHOENIX — A 65-year-old woman died after being stabbed early Saturday morning in a suspected domestic violence incident, according to the Peoria Police Department.
Police were called to a home near 59th Avenue and Greenway Road in Glendale around 6:15 a.m. and found the woman with several stab wounds.
She was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The suspect, a 63-year-old man, was also found at the scene with several cutting injuries, according to police. He was transported to the hospital with significant injuries and remains hospitalized.
Police say a witness ran to a neighbor’s house for help saying that a man and a woman lived at the house and that the man stabbed the woman.
There are no other suspects, according to police, and the investigation is ongoing.
