Man allegedly stabbed person in Phoenix motel room, woman in car

PHOENIX — A 38-year-old woman was sitting in her vehicle with two family members waiting for the train to cross near 51st Avenue and Van Buren on Friday night when a hand reached in through the window and stabbed her.

The woman only suffered minor wounds. Police located a suspect, 43-year-old Alan Demond Clark.

While the police were questioning him, Clark said he also stabbed a man at a motel around 51st Avenue and Buckeye Road.

Police went to the motel and found Christopher Anthony Molinar, 19, dead. It was not clear to police what the relationship was between Clark and Molinar.

The woman said she does not know who Clark is.

Clark was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault.

He was booked into Maricopa County Jail.
