Westbound Interstate 10 in west Phoenix reopens after crash

PHOENIX — Westbound Interstate 10 reopened Friday afternoon at 75th Avenue in west Phoenix after a serious crash Friday morning, authorities said.

Eastbound traffic remained open but was experiencing backups.

The closure began just after 8 a.m.

The crash resulted in serious injuries, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

A DPS spokesman told KTAR News 92.3 FM impairment was suspected and an arrest has been made.
