Silver Alert canceled after north Phoenix man is located safely

PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Friday afternoon after a missing 75-year-old north Phoenix man with Alzheimer’s was found healthy and in good health, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Manuel Cajero Hernandez was last seen that morning between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. near 24th Street and Cloud Road, north of Carefree Highway.

He was wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anybody with information about his whereabouts was asked to call the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office at 602-876-1011.
