Silver Alert canceled after 72-year-old Chandler man found safe

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Wednesday for a 72-year-old man with dementia who went missing from his Chandler home that morning.

Zheng Shi was found safely by police in Luna, New Mexico, at about 2 p.m.

Shi had last seen around 5:30 a.m. near Lindsay and Riggs roads wearing white boxer shorts and a gray T-shirt.

He is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was driving a 2009 Honda CRV with Arizona plate NAF287.
