PHOENIX — A suspect was dead and no officers were injured following a shooting in El Mirage involving police, authorities said Tuesday.
The suspect, an adult male, died at the scene, Lt. Tim Mason with the El Mirage Police Department told KTAR News 92.3 FM in an email.
No other details about the shooting were immediately available.
The officer-involved shooting was the 16th in the Valley this year and first involving El Mirage police, according to statistics compiled by KTAR News.
