El Mirage PD: MCSO employee arrested for attempting to lure minor

PHOENIX – The El Mirage Police Department arrested a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office employee for attempting to lure a minor for sex on Wednesday.

Miguel Ramirez Diaz was arrested for one count of luring a minor, according to El Mirage Police.

On March 2, El Mirage officers responded to a report of a man who drove past an 11-year-old girl several times and reportedly asked the girl if she wanted to have sex with him when he stopped twice.

Detectives investigated the incident and later identified Diaz as the suspect.
