PHOENIX — A pair of Valley cities are among the top 20 most caring in the nation, according to a ranking from a personal finance website.

WalletHub had Scottsdale as its No. 10 most caring city of 2019 while Gilbert came it at No. 15 on the list, which used the 100 largest cities in the country.

The ranking used three key metrics to place the cities in order: Caring for the community, caring for the vulnerable and caring in the workforce.

Both cities also fared well in caring for the community, with Scottsdale finishing No. 4 and Gilbert at No. 2.

Scottsdale and Gilbert ranked poorly in the caring in the workforce metric. Scottsdale was No. 95 while Gilbert was No. 93.

Other Arizona cities on the list were Chandler (No. 25), Mesa (No. 45), Phoenix (No. 74), Glendale (No. 76) and Tucson (No. 80).
