PHOENIX—A Phoenix-based real estate company purchased a land parcel for industrial use in Goodyear.
ViaWest Group announced Wednesday it acquired a 25.91-acre parcel for $4.55 million and will develop it into three separate buildings totaling 410,000 square feet.
The land is located on the southwest corner of Elwood Street and Sarival Avenue.
“The investment by ViaWest is further evidence of the confidence developers have in Goodyear, where tenants see a great place for business, quality of life, and expanded housing options for their employees,” Mayor Georgia Lord said in a press release.
ViaWest Group purchased the piece of land in conjunction with a Philadelphia-based investment company.
The land was sold by RADOS Properties-Arizona Land, LLC.
Construction on the project is set to begin in March 2020 and will be completed in early 2021.
