1-year-old girl pulled from Glendale pool in critical condition

PHOENIX — A 1-year-old girl was in critical condition Sunday after being pulled from a Glendale pool, authorities said.

The girl was found in a family pool near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road by her mother, who initiated CPR, Glendale Fire Department spokeswoman Ashley Losch said in an email.

When fire crews arrived, they were able to get the girl to breathe on her own, Losch added.

The girl was transported to a local hospital.

No other information was immediately available.
