Silver Alert canceled for 78-year-old West Valley woman found safe

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled for a 78-year-old West Valley woman who was safely located after she went missing Monday morning.

Judy Tanzer told her daughter at 9 a.m. on Monday she was going shopping near her Sun City residence near Beardsley Road and 99th Avenue, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Attempts to locate Tanzer at nearby shopping centers were unsuccessful.

Tanzer has early signs of dementia, Lupus and heart conditions that require medications.
