PHOENIX — There will be downward dog, but there won’t be any dogs at this Arizona Animal Welfare League event.

The AAWL announced they’ll be hosting a special kitten yoga for kids event on Oct. 20.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the AAWL who helped over 1,200 kittens this summer season.

The event is intended for children, so anybody over the age of 18 must have a child with them.

Any attendees under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone in attendance must be registered.

Those planning to attend should bring their own yoga mat, water and be ready to snuggle kittens.

The event will take place at the AAWL Phoenix campus at 15 N. 40th Place. The event will go from 10 to 11 a.m.

Registration can be completed online for $20.

We want to hear from you.
