Scottsdale City Court is making it easier to dispute parking tickets

PHOENIX – Have you recently received a parking violation in Scottsdale?

The Scottsdale City Court expanding its Online Dispute Resolution program, individuals will now be able to settle their claims online without having to appear in court.

The service is free and is accessible 24 hours a day from a mobile device or computer.

Arizona’s Administrative Office of the Courts stated in a press release that the pilot program began Oct. 1.

Those planning on utilizing it will have to first file a documentary hearing regarding the parking citation to the Scottsdale City Court.

The project will make all the necessary court documents online in order to continue with the appeal process.

Once the charges and other factors are reviewed, the court will determine if it is eligible for the program.

If it is, the defendant, citing officer, or witnesses will need to submit statements through the software for the court to review and come to a final decision.
