Glendale man accused of exposing himself to women from his car

PHOENIX — Glendale police said Tuesday they have arrested a man accused of exposing himself to women from his vehicle.

Four victims, three in Glendale and one in Phoenix, reported incidents of a similar nature from August 2018 through September 2019.

Samuel Martinez, 23, would allegedly position his vehicle so that when female pedestrians walked past it, they “would have to pass by him while he was seated inside the car masturbating,” according to police.

Police arrested him Sept. 25 between Olive and Peoria avenues near 63rd Avenue when an undercover officer allegedly caught him in the act.

Police said Martinez told them he would pull over his vehicle on his way to work in the mornings to watch pornography and was seen doing so four times by women passing by.

He was booked on four counts of indecent exposure.
