Interstate 10 only Valley freeway to have major closure this weekend
Only one Phoenix-area freeway will have a full closure this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

PHOENIX — Valley motorists won’t have to worry about as many road closures this weekend as usual.
Only one freeway will have a full closure, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
In west Phoenix, eastbound Interstate 10 will be closed between 67th and 43rd avenues from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Sunday for work on the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange.
The eastbound I-10 ramps at 91st, 83rd, 79th and 75th avenues will also be closed during that time.
Other areas around the Valley will see freeway ramp closures.
The westbound I-10 on-ramp at 27th Avenue will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Sunday for a freeway widening project.

Over in the East Valley, the southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Chandler Boulevard will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for sound wall work.
In south Phoenix, the northbound Interstate 17 off-ramp at Seventh Avenue will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Tuesday for a Valley Metro/City of Phoenix project.
In a freeway-related surface street closure, 32nd Street in Phoenix will be closed between the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway and Liberty Lane from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for lighting installation at the freeway interchange.
