Crash in Glendale involving a dump truck leaves 1 dead

PHOENIX — A crash near 51st Avenue and Thunderbird Road left one victim dead and five others in critical condition early on Sunday morning.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, including a dump truck that was laying on its side and on top of a car, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

Crews from both Phoenix and Glendale responded to the scene in Glendale.
