Temperatures in the Valley expected to eclipse 110 throughout weekend

PHOENIX — Saturday and Sunday are expected to see high temperatures over 110 degrees as the heat begins to ramp up heading into July.

From Thursday to Friday, the high temperature in Phoenix jumped from 102 degrees to 109. Sunday was the last time the high failed to reach 100 degrees with a 99-degree high temperature.

The 7-day forecast is expecting a high temperature of 110 degrees or more Saturday, Sunday and Monday, according to Nohelani Graf of ABC 15.

The coolest day of the week is expected to be Fourth of July when forecasts project a high of 106.

Don’t expect much of an overnight cool down, either, as the low temps for the week are not forecasted to dip below 80 degrees.

Wednesday was the last time the low temperature of the day was recorded below the 80-degree mark.
