Two dead, one critically injured following shooting in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A man and woman have died following a shooting in Phoenix late Thursday night.

According to authorities, Phoenix Police responded to a call of a shooting around 11:30 p.m. in the area of 2600 N. 45th Avenue.

Upon arrival, patrol officers discovered three individuals, two women and a man, with gunshot wounds.

The man, whose age was unknown, and a 34-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene, while the third victim, a 36-year-old woman, was transported to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.

The second woman was in critical condition.

No other information regarding the suspect or how the incident occurred was immediately available as the investigation was in its early stages.
