Scottsdale Police offering $11K reward in Don & Charlie’s robbery case

PHOENIX — A reward of up to $11,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of thieves who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of baseball memorabilia from popular Scottsdale restaurant Don & Charlie’s early Wednesday morning.

The autographed baseballs — 34 missing in total – were mostly from Hall of Fame players, including Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio.

They are worth an estimated $200,000 to $600,000.

Don & Charlie’s is known for its wide array of sports memorabilia.

The restaurant, located at Camelback Road and 75th Street, is set to close on April 10 after 38 years.

Police said there is no suspect information and that the investigation is ongoing.
