PHOENIX — Phoenix-based Muscular Moving Men will expand into San Diego and Denver in February after establishing its first out-of-state location in Detroit in August.

The company is offering a 10 percent discount and free packaging supplies in all three out-of-state locations on moves booked next month.

“San Diego and Denver are two of the hottest moving markets in the country,” Justin Hodge, president of Muscular Moving Men, said in a press release.

“We are excited to bring high-quality, fairly priced moves to the residents of these cities.”

The company plans to hire at least 10 employees at both new locations, including office, warehouse and moving staff.

Hodge and Josh Jurhill founded the company in Phoenix in 2008, completing moves themselves with one trailer.

Since then, they have grown to more than 80 employees and have moved 20,000 families and businesses in the past decade.

The company was recently named the official moving partner of the Alliance of American Football, meaning it is responsible for moving 175,000 pounds of equipment from the league’s San Antonio training camp to each team’s hometown.
