Silver Alert canceled as missing Glendale woman found in Texas

PHOENIX – A Silver Alert issued for an elderly Glendale woman whose family hadn’t heard from her since before the new year has been canceled.

Authorities said Mary Holthaus, 80, was located in Texas after her family reported her missing Thursday night. They had not seen or spoken to her since Dec. 28.

Holthaus suffers from a form of dementia.

Her car was spotted on video leaving the area of 59th Avenue and Bell Road, near her home. She was driving a white 2001 Toyota Camry.
