PHOENIX — Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to try something new, or to be more active?
If so, Ballet Arizona is making it easy by offering a free week of classes Jan. 7-11.
The classes at the studio near Washington and 32nd streets include modern dance, belly dance and beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of ballet.
Most of the classes are aimed for those aged 14 and older, but there are also teen classes that start at age 12.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes, including socks or dance shoes, and show up early to sign in and secure a spot.
“We have morning classes for the ballet classes, as well as everything else offered throughout the evenings,” Jasmine Nunn, Ballet Arizona school manager, told KTAR News 92.3 FM last week.
“There’s a little bit of something for everyone.”
KTAR News 92.3 FM’s Taylor Kinnerup contributed to this report.
